What data do you collect from me?

Before your first class, you will be asked to complete a general health questionnaire.  This form is available to download from this website.  It includes contact details and information regarding medical conditions.

This information is used and stored in line with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations).

How do you use this data?

Your contact details are used to keep you informed of classes, events and occasional articles linked to our yoga practice.

Your medical information is used to help plan classes incorporating modifications that may be offered to suit your health needs. 

​

Next of kin details are requested in case of emergency. 

 

Except where required by law, data is not shared with third parties.

How long do you hold my data?

Data relating to classes is held for at least seven years for insurance purposes.  Emails are retained for two years.

Can I request to see my information?

Under GDPR you have the right to request a copy of your personal data, to rectify any inaccuracies, and to request that your personal data is erased.
